Youth Outreach Opportunities 

 

Dow Corning strongly supports youth and educations, and appreciates your consideration to serve as a positive role model to the students.

At the Dow Corning Tennis Classic, we offer several youth outreach opportunities for you to become involved in. The programs are designed to give sutdents the opportunities to learn about pursuing EXCELLENCE and CULTURAL differences.

Dow Corning's School Program Includes:

  • PROS to the Schools - You will get the opportunity to travel to a local elementray school for a short presentation on your lfe as a professional athlete.
  • Schools to the Matches - Students will travel to the Midland Community Tennis Center for a tour of the facility, an hour watchnig a tournament match and a short talk with one fo the pros. (We will work around your competition schedule. To reserve your spot for any additional information, please contact Bob Chapman at (989) 631-6152 ext 110 or chapbob@aol.com)

Other Opportunities Include:

  •  High School Play Day Presented by MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland - A unique opportunity for students to "play with the pros" - Saturday February 6th.
  • Sponsor Pro-Ams (Tues - Fri)
  • Community Events (All Week)

We will be looking for players to take part in this program, which could include hittng with the students and speaking on overcoming obstacles in life to achieve your goals. Compensation for this will be paid at a set amount for each afternoon.

*Compensation to the Tournig Pros for all Student Outreach Programs will be based on specific programs and length of time committed.
